Is the Constitution really as useful as we as citizens are led to believe? Explain why.
The constitution was established to ensure that all citizens have rights that cant be taken away. Yet as time goes on laws are passed that make loop holes around the constitution. We have the right to bear arms however the government decides when, where, and how we are allowed to use that right, and the same goes for rights we have as citizens. The whole constitution is not as useful as the government would like us citizens to believe. When it was created in 1787 the U.S didn't have the same problems as the country does now. As far as government goes it is a good solid foundation however when it comes to individual rights the constitution falls short.
